CHROME EXTENSION PRIVACY POLICY

Private post-game coaching, by design.

Last updated August 1, 2026. The extension's single purpose is to analyze completed public Chess.com games locally and recommend opening lessons.

Information handled

Use and storage

Your username is sent over HTTPS only to api.chess.com to retrieve public data. Requests omit cookies and referrer information. The username, settings, completed game, and analysis are stored in Chrome's local extension storage, restricted to trusted extension pages. Stockfish runs locally.

Repertoire /64 does not receive this information on a developer server, sell it, use it for advertising, or make it available for human review.

Permissions

Retention, control, and Limited Use

Information remains locally until you overwrite it, use Clear local data, clear extension data in Chrome, or uninstall the extension. Chrome stores extension data in your local browser profile; someone with access to that operating-system and Chrome profile may be able to inspect it. You can change the username or disable automatic review at any time. Information is used only for the disclosed post-game coaching features and in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy's Limited Use requirements.

Contact and changes

Material data-practice changes will be disclosed before they begin. You can remove all saved extension information with Clear local data in the popup. Support, privacy questions, and bug reports can be submitted through the official Repertoire /64 Discord server.
